Our client wanted to give his daughter a truly unique experience during their trip to Japan by arranging private masterclasses with a professional manga artist to support her passion for drawing. Group workshops were not an option. The goal was to organize one-on-one lessons with a recognized manga artist — a request that is exceptionally difficult to fulfill regardless of budget. The project was so complex that we were the only company willing to take it on, and only one of our local partners in Japan agreed to help.

Solution

After several months of research and negotiations, we secured the participation of a renowned manga artist. Shortly before the trip, however, he was forced to cancel. We immediately identified another highly talented artist whose style, teaching approach, and professional background perfectly matched the client’s expectations, ensuring the experience could still go ahead as planned.

Result

The family enjoyed a series of private masterclasses, giving the client’s daughter the rare opportunity to learn directly from a professional manga artist. Her father and brother also joined the sessions, making them a memorable family experience. As a special finale, the artist presented the family with a hand-drawn portrait in manga style. What initially seemed almost impossible became one of the highlights of their journey through Japan.

Challenge

Just a few days before a family trip to Thailand, the client’s grandson, who was due to travel with the family, fell ill with a seasonal viral infection. As a result, the trip had to be cancelled. By that point, the reservation had already entered the cancellation penalty period, meaning the hotel was under no contractual obligation to issue a refund. Given the booking conditions, the chances of recovering the payment appeared extremely limited.
 

Solution

Rather than accepting the situation as final, we contacted the hotel on the client’s behalf and presented the circumstances in detail. Drawing on our long-standing relationships within the hospitality industry and extensive experience in complex negotiations, we continued discussions with the hotel’s management, explored every possible option, and secured an individual review of the case despite the standard cancellation policy.

Result

Although the cancellation penalties were already in effect and the situation did not qualify as force majeure, we successfully secured a full refund for the client. Cases like this highlight an important part of our work. We do far more than arrange travel — we advocate for our clients, protect their interests, and negotiate solutions even when the likelihood of success appears minimal.

Challenge

Late in the evening, a client approached us with an unusual request: a valuable piece of jewelry had to be collected the following morning in one French city and delivered to another, approximately three hours away by car, before 6:00 PM the same day. The challenge was not only the tight deadline but also the value of the item. Finding someone trustworthy enough to handle such a delivery on only a few hours’ notice is far more difficult than arranging transportation itself.
 

Solution

In situations like this, speed is only part of the challenge — trust is equally important. Within hours, we identified a thoroughly vetted local contact who could safely transport the jewelry, coordinated every stage of the journey, and monitored the delivery from collection to handover. Throughout the process, we remained in constant contact with everyone involved to ensure complete security and transparency.

Result

The jewelry was delivered on time, while the client’s costs were limited to the transfer and a modest service fee. More importantly, the client had complete confidence that a highly valuable personal possession had been entrusted to the right person. This is where the value of a professional concierge service becomes clear: providing trusted solutions quickly when there is simply no room for delays, uncertainty, or mistakes.
